Dust mites live in everyone’s homes, no matter how clean you are. They live on the skin cells people shed, and absorb their drinking water from humidity in the atmosphere. Mites are found in pillows, mattresses, carpeting and upholstered furniture. They float in the air when these things are disturbed, like when you vacuum or simply get into bed.
